Paper Submisssion
No, authors are not asked to pay a submission fee. However, the submitting author must be a current year EFA member (2025) in order to submit a paper to the Annual Meeting.
You can view a list on the tracks and topics page.
Please note that you are allowed to select only ONE track and as many topics as you wish (within the track).
You need to submit a paper via ConfTool at www.conftool.com/efa2025 and you must be an EFA member for the current year (2025).
You can submit the paper to any of the tracks that are available. The papers for these special sessions are chosen from the pool of papers submitted to the conference and undergo the same reviewing process.
Authors are entitled to change/revise/delete their submission any time before paper submission deadline (February 1).
If you need to change the track of your submission, you must withdraw your paper and re-submit it. The system does not allow you to change the track.
Your submission was not saved before closing the page. The system allows authors to submit a contribution and upload papers later. However, the submission process needs to be completed by saving the submission.
Login to your account and click on “Your Submissions” -> “Withdraw Contribution” -> “Yes, withdraw contribution”. You will shortly receive a confirmation email about your withdrawal.
There are various reasons why you have not received the confirmation email. Before taking any action, please follow these steps:
- Check your spam folder.
- Check-in ConfTool your email address (it might be misspelled). If misspelled, please write to the local organizers to update it.
- Check ConfTool, if you have a complete submission within your account (complete=with paper file uploaded).
In order to upload the files to your submission, you have to log into ConfTool. On the overview page, click “Your Submission”, and then click “Upload Contribution” among the options on the right-hand side. There you will be able to upload the anonymous and complete version of your paper.
The RF will receive information about the best 30 papers submitted to the conference. The editor might contact the author(s) in order to invite them to submit their paper to the RF. It is the choice of the author(s) to decide for or against the invitation. Please note that this is NOT a dual submission.
Let’s put this another way … the submission platform will close on Saturday February 1, 2025 at 23.59 standard pacific time. Central European Time is 9 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time.
